My 2015 Holiday Greeting Cards from Shutterfly

I have not sent out holiday cards since 2009 when we got married. I was all stoked about it being our first married Christmas that I simply HAD to send out cards to everyone I knew. I love getting greeting cards in the mail, but sadly for the past six years I haven’t even thought about sending out any.

But this year, I took so many photos of Pee Wee, and I know everyone in our family loves the little guy, so why not put his cute little face on our cards? I’m not big into sending out photos of myself, but I will unabashedly show anyone Pee Wee’s pics. He’s adorbs, true story.

I wanted cards that looked high end, had a gold/metallic/pearly finish, came with envelopes, and didn’t cost an arm and a leg. Also, I didn’t want to commit to ordering a huge quantity. About 20 is enough for us. Shutterfly to the rescue! I snagged my cards during one of their promos, and I chose to go with a design that showcased our Hispanic heritage. Felices Fiestas embodies what the holidays are about to Daniel and I– happy gatherings, parties and celebrations with those you love.

Shutterfly has a whole line of Latino/a inspired cards, so if you don’t know what you want to say, chances are they have a design made for you that fits the bill.

Ordering was super easy. I picked my style (see below), personalized and uploaded his photo, typed a sentence or two, added to cart and BAM…done! I did upgrade to the pearl shimmer cardstock, because of course, and it was well worth the upgrade. The gold stripes aren’t literally gold foil, so this really helps amp it up a notch.

I made a cute video to show them off. This is my first attempt at stop-motionish videos, and I learned I need an iPhone tripod. Hopefully Santa will put one in my stocking!

I also made a Shutterfly photo book, and I cannot wait to share that review with you. And yes, it is also themed after Pee Wee. I loves him. <3 Sneak peek is below.
