I truly love this partnership and adore the style and quality of all the stuff I have bought. This post contains affiliate links- thanks for your support!
These five cozy items will make any space better whether it be a living room/den, bedroom, office or breakfast nook. I opted for the living room since it's the only room in the apartment with a decent amount of furniture right now. We're moving in our stuff finally this Saturday, so I'll have rooms to decorate again. I'm elated.
Cozy Must-Have #1: Tufted Ottoman
I've been using my bench as a coffee table, which has worked OK, but with the tree and other items it doesn't leave much room for walking around. That's why I opted to invest in a round oversized tufted storage ottoman (they also carry this same ottoman in other colors). Now I have a multi-functional coffee table, ottoman AND storage.
People sitting on the sofa or the loveseat bench have easy access. It's empty currently, but I envision storing board games, DVD's and extra throws in the ottoman.
I must say this ottoman is massive. I read the dimensions prior to ordering it online, and I was still happily surprised at how beefy it was for under $100. It would also look amazing in a walk-in closet.
Cozy Must-Have #2: Metallic Curtains
You all saw a peek at my new "wall" I created with my curtains, and two of the panels are the Metallic Damask Foil Window Panels. At 96" long, they help filter the light and they add so much glamour to the room.
Metallic curtains are a great way to cozy up a room because they add texture to a space while also serving a purpose. Choose gold for a warmer look or silver for a cooler palette.
Cozy Must-Have #3: Scented Candles
The Better Homes and Gardens scented candles are high quality and such a bargain. I also use their wax warmers quite a bit, but nothing tops the glow of a candle. I chose the warm up winter scent, and it reminds me of an expensive men's cologne. It's divine.
It smells rich, burns for hours and hours, and is under $8. These would make great gifts for any woman in your life. You can't top a scented candle during the holiday season.
Cozy Must-Have #4: Glam Floor Lamp
A well-lit space can do wonders for your decor and overall look and feel of your home, so if you don't have a ton of light, bring some in with a floor lamp like the Translucent Column Floor Lamp.
This corner is bare and dark, so a floor lamp really helps illuminate this whole area. I love the translucent base and simple ivory shade-- the metallic silver accents also look super classy and bring in more metallics to the space. The beefy base makes this lamp look way more expensive than it really is online.
Cozy Must-Have #5: Fur Throws
We seriously have more than five Better Homes and Gardens throws in our home at any given time so that each of us has our own, and of course Pee Wee has one for his crate, the couch, the bedroom...he's spoiled.
Our latest throw is a faux fur one, and it is SO luxe! It's soft, and the pattern/design makes it look way more expensive than it truly is. The colors match with nearly anything, and they wash beautifully.
