I LOVE fall decor, and now that I live in Corpus Christi I have access to not one, but TWO Hobby Lobby locations. One is on my way home from work, so I stopped by earlier this week to check out their fall decor for the apartment in an effort to get off the highway during rush hour. I love shopping at Hobby Lobby - it smells good, the staff is friendly and it's so relaxing to enjoy all the decor.
Even though I am not living in the house anymore, it's really important to me to decorate and make this temporary living situation feel more like a home.
I really love to buy fall decor that has a bit of a glam factor (think black, white and gold mixed with a few traditional/timeless pieces), so today I'm sharing my top eight glam fall decor finds from Hobby Lobby. Their weekly ad always has great sales, so make sure to check it out to see what's on sale that week and snag their weekly coupon (which you can access and use on any mobile device!)
1.) Fall Garland: I love a good garland because it's versatile. Use it on a mantle, over a mirror or piece of art, or lay it over a buffet for a chic look. I love the way this garland is used over a hall tree.
The details in this garland and the warm colors make this a good decor choice that'll last throughout the years and trends.
2.) Pumpkin Platter: This piece would look great on an end table with some candy corn or candles, or even on a foyer table to hold keys during the fall season.
3.) Polka Dot Gold Pumpkin: These pumpkins would look fabulous anywhere. Personally, I'd use them on a mantel or even along the hearth for a fun metallic accent.
4.) Pumpkin Spice Sign: This sign is fabulous! I am trying to find a place for it in the apartment (maybe over the countertop area where the coffee maker is...?) because I love the script font and whimsy it adds. Plus it's a nod to the pumpkin spice explosion happening in anything food or beverage lately.
5.) Pumpkin Spice Canister: Ok, one more pumpkin spice decor piece that I was smitten with is the very cute canister which is a great addition to kitchen decor. I always have trouble decorating kitchen areas, but this is a good way to incorporate decor in a natural way. Very farmhouse chic!
6.) Gold Script Dinner Plates: Fall tablescapes are a delight to put together, so a table needs some gorgeous dinnerware. These plates are understated, classic, timeless pieces you could use for years. They match with any decor or color palette. How gorgeous would these be on a Thanksgiving table?
7.) Gold Deer Statue: I have a thing for deer. I think it's because they are so cute, regal and visually make an impact in a vignette. This piece alongside some candleabras or a floral arrangement would be stunning. Plus, this guy sits the same way Pee Wee does, and I love it.
8.) Gold Stripe Pumpkin: I can't ignore a classic stripe, and I couldn't ignore this modern pumpkin. Pumpkins are my jam during the fall, and this one came home with me. I am likely going to make a small vignette with it for my small round dining table at the apartment along with some other smaller pumpkins.
Have you stopped by Hobby Lobby lately to check out their fall decor? You totally should, and if you can't get out to a store near you, did you know you can shop online and snag the same great deals? It's amazing!
I did notice their holiday/Christmas selection, too. I want it all! I plan to go again soon to get some floral supplies to make some arrangements for the apartment. Decor really cheers me up and is a creative outlet, and it's nice to come home to a place that feels like me during this transition. I can't express how much I love fall! Now, time for a pumpkin spice latte and TV! xo.
