Home Decor: Fall Color Trend Ideas

I know in my own home I tend to use a lot of gray and beige because bold colors kind of frighten me. Can I live with them awhile or will I have to paint again (I despise painting, true story)? So, I think of other ways to bring color into my home in simple ways.

One super easy way is with window treatments, like the ones in this beautiful space below. With all the bold fall color trends, it's really easy to pick a fun color to incorporate in any room of your home. My fave "hot" fall color is the fun and bright Pantone Bright Orchid, as well as all the deep, bright blue hues. These fall colors are classy and they look high end when used in small doses.

While window treatments can be pricey, I consider them an investment. They can lower your energy costs, enhance your space, and help filter natural daylight. Hunter Douglas custom window treatments from Décorview come in many different colors and sizes (and some are even motorized), so it's easy to upgrade from drab mini blinds or bare windows to something more chic.

In our house I love to incorporate bold window treatments that will transition beautifully throughout the seasons. Plus, I also try to pick window treatment designs/colors I know I will like for many years to come-- like a gorgeous royal blue that will always be luxe and classy. It's easier to splurge on something if I know I will love it for a long time, so that's my approach to window coverings and other decor in my home.

If you're like me and are nervous about measuring for window treatments, Décorview's process takes the guess work out of the equation. They offer a free consultation (no pressure at all), they measure everything for you, and then they install it all. No muss, no fuss...just a beautiful new space.

So, tell me, what are YOUR favorite window treatments and colors this fall? Do you love Radiant Orchid as much as I do?

Schedule your free design consultation from Décorview and save on your window projects before December 16th.
