Weight Watchers {Week 5}

So, this week, I decided to NOT follow anything and just focus on eating when I was hungry, eating in moderation, and eating the right stuff. I indulged a little, drank 2 bottles of red wine this week, had 2 beers…

And stayed the same.

PRAISE CHEESUS! (Glee reference, not meant to be blasphemous)

Yup, I am ecstatic that through it all, I managed to maintain my weight for a week. Usually I gain a pound, gain another pound and then BAM forty pounds later, I am forty pounds heavier.

I also didn’t exercise. Nope, not at all. I stayed busy and tried to not just sit around, which counts for something. Weeks 3 and 4, I felt like I was starving myself, not counting points and not being healthy. I took this week off to get my mind back in the game and show myself that I can do this. I am sure if I would have just exercised, I might have lost 0.5 a pound or something.

Today, I started on the new Weight Watchers program that most people love. I hate change, but I am going to give it a shot rather than be negative or stubborn. Unfortunately though, I did use up ALL my flex points today since I made some icky choices. Thank goodness fruits/veggies are 0 points because I will surely need them to get through the week. See ya on Saturday!

Week 5 Weight Loss: 0- maintained

Total Weight Loss to Date: 4.4 pounds

Week 5 Exercise Minutes= 0 minutes

Total Exercise Minutes to Date*= 436 minutes

*=These numbers represent a cumulative total

Weight Watchers Virtual Bank Balance= $110.00 ($40 from weight loss, $70 from exercise)

This was in college in 2003. I was 18. Man, I feel old. I STILL have those red corduroy J. Lo brand pants that I am determined to fit into for family pictures next fall.

    2. You are doing great! It's not easy to change your life. As they say, you didn't gain weight overnight so it takes time to lose it too. You will get there!
